Kings Coach Gains Full Recognition

Winner of the Teignbridge Sports and Community Senior Coach of the Year!

Kings Boxing Academy are very proud to announce that their Head Coach and driving force behind this outstanding boxing club is the Winner of the ‘Teignbridge Sports and Community Senior Coach of the Year’.  This came as a complete surprise but to the community leaders and VIP officials they did not require any convicting as the evidence was crystal clear that our Head Coach ‘Chris Rattenbury’ has been totally devoted to the sport of boxing, committing himself as a selfless volunteer, ensuring our community and young people are provided with an excellent gym resource and outstanding coaching.  He has given over 22 years as an unpaid volunteer devoting himself to help others through sports and developed the gym to ensure it’s an excellent facility with good equipment serving the community and young people who wish to follow their dreams in this minority but ultimate sport.

Despite those people who still undermine the club and our coach for petty personal reasons we strive forward against constant the obstacles and difficulties. ‘What goes around comes around’ and ‘Our Champ’ has given back to his community and the only reward is seeing young people succeed and have a positive and healthy lifestyle producing upstanding young men and women from our community.  He is humbled by this award which is his 3rd award for his unsung efforts, our winning record speaks for itself.

Viva Kings Boxing Academy, be part of the best, it’s why we win!
