Kings Boxing Academy news and updates June 2023

The 22/23 season has ended and we have registered for the 23/24 season, the club has settled in with England Boxing our governing body but it’s been quite a challenging season.  Starting off with 19 carded boxers the club went out to compete at every opportunity although experiencing some difficulties we were not used to encountering or deemed as fair-play.  The squad have had to adjust having to ‘fight’ more-so than ‘box’ to gain a Read more…

Our Future Development

Kings Boxing Academy work tirelessly to develop every aspect of the club especially focussing on competing and our female development and inclusion program. Our team of dedicated volunteers have made many improvements including our infrastructure, constitution and club benchmark. Kings Boxing Academy are proud to announce our new breed of boxers who are coming through the ranks and completing their Bronze awards,  there are several more being tested, these up and coming contenders look promising. Kings Return to Balham ABC

Kings boxing Academy Braves return from competing in Balham London on Saturday 19th Feb, the team travelled with only 3 boxers from the selected 6 that were matched. The 3 boxers that entered the ring to compete all had a change of opponents. Kings AGM and round-up news

Kings Boxing Academy committee members and assistants to the club attended a face to face AGM to discuss events from the year 2021 and to lay out plans for 2022. Kings Boxing Academy are shouting Bravo to Skemers ABC for their dynamic and vibrant show also to the officials, supporters and those behind the scenes who made their great show possible. Hat-Trick wins for Kings boxers

Kings Boxing Academy senior squad travelled to Barnstaple ABC on Saturday 6th November. The 3 boxers who were matched had made gruelling preparations in the gym to mix various styles and skills and were primed and ready to take the fight to their opponents back-yard. Kings Braves Box in Bromley

An opportunity for 3 boxers being called out to box in Bromley London which the team took at short notice with 6 days notice, the 3 boxers were all on their debuts for the squad who form part of the next generation of contenders. The long-haul journey through dense M25 traffic took almost 6 hours for their assistant coach to safely transport the trio which can often take effect on performance.
